Top Tight End Target Jeremy Ruckert Visiting Michigan This Weekend
Lindenhurst (N.Y.) Lindenhurst Senior four-star tight end Jeremy Ruckert is one of Michigan’s top targets at the position in the 2018 class. He's been pretty open about how much he likes Ann Arbor and had a great time during his unofficial visit for the Maryland game. He spent the night before heading back home and had a lot of time to get a feel for what it would be like living in the area.
Ruckert will return to Ann Arbor this weekend as spring football gets underway and is expected to get another glimpse at what being involved in the Michigan football program is all about.
The 6-6, 225-pounder is a physical specimen and has the potential to be a very dangerous receiving threat at tight end in college. His abilities have him ranked as the No. 5 tight end and No. 134 overall prospect in the country. Michigan was one of his first offers and that has stuck with him as well. People around the program expect Michigan to be a serious player for him throughout his process.
Michigan is in Ruckert's top group along with Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, Wisconsin and, to some extent, Notre Dame.
