Michigan has the 6th lowest fouls per defensive play percentage in the nation this year. Michigan State is 33rd. Fouls so far: U-M 6 MSU 1— Scott Bell (@sbell021) January 26, 2014
Michigan has dumped to the post once, and Horford with a great move and lefty finish on Costello. I'd try that more. MSU 30-24, 3:42 left.— Joe Rexrode (@joerexrode) January 26, 2014

Halftime:
Very simple, they have to find a way to go North/South and attack, will be hard to win relying on contested 3's. MSU gap defense outstanding— Josh Bartelstein (@Jbart20) January 26, 2014

Gary Harris the best player on the floor with 12 and 4. But don't overlook Matt Costello with 7 and 6. Michigan has to drive more, and will.— Bob Wojnowski (@bobwojnowski) January 26, 2014
A man with taste MT @detnewsRodBeard I don't get this whole dunking off a trampoline as good halftime entertainment. #redpanda #quickchange— Dan Feldman (@danfeld11) January 26, 2014
Nik Stauskas scored eight points in the opening 6 minutes, 41 seconds. Scoreless to close the half.— Brendan F. Quinn (@BFQuinn) January 26, 2014
State has one more offensive board than Michigan. They are not "dominating the boards." Digger is the Lou Holtz of basketball.— Spencer (@THE_REAL_SPENCE) January 26, 2014
Second Half:'
Michigan comes out in second half attacking basket, as expected. And it's a game, 41-39 MSU— Bob Wojnowski (@bobwojnowski) January 26, 2014
Morgan had a great first 3 mins of the half for Michigan, but he was just sent to the bench for his 3rd foul after watching someone travel.— Scott Bell (@sbell021) January 26, 2014
Difference between this year and last: Before Beilein came to huddle last year, Trey would be talking to everyone. Right now it's quiet.— Chantel Jennings (@ChantelJennings) January 26, 2014

U-M is No. 16 in the country in defensive rebounding, w/ opponents getting 26.9 percent of ORs. MSU at 41 percent tonight w/o Payne/Dawson— Chris Vannini (@ChrisVannini) January 26, 2014
This just feels like a game that Michigan State should have already run away with. Michigan just hanging around and extending the game.— Scott Bell (@sbell021) January 26, 2014
