"One of the things I can really say is it felt like home," Cole said. "We just prayed about it. The Holy Spirit said this is the place I need to be. I talked to my parents a little bit they said go ahead, commit. Coach Hoke went crazy. He picked me up even and kissed me on my cheek and everything."
Michigan was in it early, his father said, but Michigan State was the leader.
"We were totally surprised," his mother said. "He said, 'Mom, I believe this is the place I need to be.'"
