Video: Devin Funchess embraces leadership role

Devin Funchess is the most experienced returning receiver on the Wolverines, and the junior understands that by being the 'old man' in the receiver room, he has great responsibility.

On being one of the older guys at the receiver position: "It's kind of different. When I came in, we only had Mike Kwiatkowski and Brandon Moore [at tight end], and he [Moore] got hurt, so I only looked to one person. Now, they've got me and Jehu [Chesson] and Anthony Capatina to look to in our [receiver] room. I just embrace it. I want to help people be the best they can be."
On what the young guys need the most: "Just coming into college, everything is brand new so they just ask questions, questions, questions like a kid in a candy store so I just try to answer all the questions I can, as best as possible."
On what he did this summer to lead the team: My football IQ is off the charts. I know all the positions, all the formations, and I just made sure I got everyone set doing our 7-on-7s."
