Some highlights from Michigan's intra-squad scrimmage, one John Beilein said could have gone better.

"That scrimmage was awful," he said. "Not very good, not sharp ... not good. We let them know that [Sunday] after film, had a really good practice [Sunday]. I know it's natural, but it's not acceptable. They understand. One thing about this team, they try to straighten it out, and they'll get straightened out.

"... We had turnovers, things you'll never see in our games. It is natural. Handling prosperity is a lot harder than handling adversity, and we didn't handle that very well."

Freshman Isaiah Livers scored 11 for the blue team, while Jordan Poole and Ibi Watson had 10 each for the Maize.

"We're working really hard, really hard, but we're so used to patterns by this time of year they can sort of figure it out," Beilein said. "It's not that type of rocket science where you have to change a great deal. You just have to execute what you do."
