Weber decommits

Detroit Cass Tech 2015 running back Mike Weber has decommitted from the University of Michigan. The 5-10, 205-pounder is the No. 11 running back and No. 104 overall player nationally in the 2015 class, and the second-best prospect in the state of Michigan.
"I'm decommiting from the university of Michigan thank you Michigan for the love and support I'll remake my decision at the army bowl," he tweeted.

Weber rushed for over 2,000 yards as a senior, and his decommitment comes on the heels of his team's defeat in the Michigan Division-1 semifinals of the state playoffs. The Technicians fell to Saine High School 30-15.
Weber has been considering visits to other universities for several weeks, and fully decommitting from Michigan will open the door for him to take those trips. Some schools under consideration were hesitant to allow Weber to take visits - either officially or unofficials - while committed to Michigan.
He is the seventh prospect to decommit from Michigan in the class, joining wide receiver George Campbell, running back Damien Harris, cornerback Shaun Crawford, defensive lineman Darian Roseboro, cornerback Garrett Taylor, and linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr.
Michigan State, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Wisconsin are among the other programs in which Weber has shown interest since committing to Michigan Aug. 6.
