I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Had Racine played the entire season like he played the last few weeks, we would be in the tournament, we'd all assume the team had solid leadership, and there would be no talk about divisions within the team. That's how the movie ended the last 25 years. Believe me, the team had some rotten apples back in the 90s, but they were rarely the subject of discussion because the team was winning. I guess you could say those teams won due to solid leadership, sure, but they also had above average goaltending, which we lacked for the better part of a season. In other words, did the team start winning the last few weeks because leadership emerged, or because goaltending improved dramatically? I'd say it was more of the latter, but understand you would say it's the former.
