Hayden Lavigne. Apparently playing in the USHL next year.

Actually he was just drafted in the USHL. His team in the OJHL still apparently expects him back next year. We'll see!

He's not a recruit for this upcoming year. Much will depend on how Racine and Nagelvoort perform in 2013-14. If they play well, Lavigne could come in as a freshman in 2015-16. If not, they'll look to add him in 2014-15.

LaVigne was a 6th round pick of Belleville in the 2012 OHL Draft.  How should Michigan fans be looking at this future goalie in terms of impact?  What other schools did he consider?

Big, athletic guy who still moves well and challenges shooters. Seems to be a lot of good upside.

Disagree. While every player drafted by a CHL team is a potential flight risk, this is the exact time that he would be opting for path that would lead to an OHL team rather than committing to an American university. The kid has attended Belleville Bulls (OHL) camps, so he knows very well the choice he's making.

I've only seen clips of tape, nothing live, but his numbers and endorsements are solid.
