Coming off a highly successful rookie season in Detroit, expectations are high for former Michigan star Aidan Hutchinson to not only repeat his success but take the Lions' defense to the next level, too.
One national outlet believes Hutchinson is one of a handful of defensive players across the NFL that could make the biggest impacts on the field during the 2023 season.
Hutchinson appears on the list alongside some big names across the league as the hype surrounding the Lions' is reaching a fever pitch level as the season nears.
This is what the outlet had to say:
Detroit's hometown standout wasn't necessarily as imposing as other pass rushers in his class; Travon Walker and Kayvon Thibodeaux both have freaky upside. But he still managed 9.5 sacks as a rookie, and now he's on a much better defense that should have improved secondary support. A breakout feels possible as the Lions look to finally storm the NFC North.
