With spring ball underway more and more prospects are making their way to Ann Arbor to see what Jim Harbaugh and Michigan football are all about. Tomorrow, a pair of talented juniors will be on campus to get a first-hand look at how things are done at U-M.

Atlanta Hapeville Charter three-star cornerback Christopher Smith has an offer list that most five-star prospects would be cool with so he's definitely a prospect of note despite his modest rating. The 6-0, 165 pounder has had this trip planned for a while and he's excited to get on campus.

When asked if he was excited to arrive, his answer was short and sweet but enthusiastic.

"You know it!" he said.

Smith is considered the No. 47 cornerback in the country but with offers from some of college football's most successful programs he's obviously well thought of.

Cleveland Heights (Ohio) High four-star strongside defensive end Tyreke Smith is also anxious to get on campus. The 6-4, 250-pounder doesn't really know what to expect but he's fine with that. He just wants to show up and enjoy the ride.

"The coaches really haven't said much. They just want me to visit," Smith explained. "They have just told me that it's a great place."

As the No. 10 strongside defensive end and No. 211 overall prospect nationally, Smith could be one of the few defensive line prospects being seriously targeted by the U-M staff. With Dearborn (Mich.) Divine Child three-star weakside defensive end Aidan Hutchinson already in the fold, the Michigan coaches are likely looking to add a strongside edge rusher and a defensive tackle to the mix — Smith could be one of those guys.
