Four-Star ATH Dillon Tatum Talks Michigan, Upcoming Decision

Dillon Tatum recently released a final four of Baylor, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame.

Now, it appears that this recruitment is quickly becoming a two-horse race between in-state rivals Michigan and Michigan State for the talented four-star athlete out of West Bloomfield (Mich.) High.

Tatum has already visited both schools in the past and is aiming to make his decision at some point this month.

“It’s looking like it’s mainly going to be Michigan and Michigan State,” Tatum said. “I talk to both of those teams a lot. I already have that relationship with Coach (Ron) Bellamy at Michigan. I talk to Michigan State all the time. I’m just taking it in and seeing which school is better for me.”

As Tatum mentioned, he has a preexisting relationship with new Michigan safeties coach Ron Bellamy, who made the leap to the college level after leading West Bloomfield to a state title this past season.

Tatum starred as a defensive back for Bellamy and would love to play for him again at the next level. Bellamy has made Tatum one of his top targets this cycle, and the two were just on the phone again a few days ago.
