Gay told RebelGrove.com Oct. 5 he was still considering Mississippi State, Florida, Florida State and Michigan. Prior to that comment, Gay removed all Ole Miss-related images and text from his Twitter page.

Gay then told TheWolverine.com Oct. 19, "Michigan is my No. 1 school right now. It's crazy right now," and following Saturday's 41-8 win over Illinois he added, "One word, man...WOW."

Running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley has been running Gay's recruitment. The two have bonded extremely well, and the Wolverines could be in a great spot to flip the speedy linebacker.

The 6-1, 203-pounder is Rivals.com's No. 17 outside linebacker nationally and the No. 6 player in Mississippi.
