Michigan trails Penn State at halftime, 21-13.

The Wolverines got off to an atrocious start, with the Nittany Lions scoring two touchdowns in the first five minutes.

Penn State reached Michigan's red zone before sophomore cornerback David Long intercepted a Trace McSorley pass and swung the momentum.

Junior running back Karan Higdon scored from one yard out on fourth down with 12:53 left in the second quarter to cut the lead to 14-7.

The Wolverines kept the momentum with a six-yard touchdown run by fifth-year senior running back Ty Isaac with just 1:45 left in the half. However, redshirt freshman kicker Quinn Nordin missed the extra point, and Michigan trailed 14-13.

The Nittany Lions strung together a touchdown drive before half to grab a 21-13 lead at the break.

Penn State is outgaining Michigan, 302-141.

Fifth-year senior quarterback John O'Korn has played very well, completing seven of his nine passes for 63 yards. More importantly though, he has not turned the ball over.
