Louis Hansen spent his Sunday doing his best to recruit one of Michigan’s top remaining 2021 recruiting targets.
The Michigan tight end commit and his father, Michael, took Rivals100 offensive lineman Drew Kendall out for a round of golf. While the two New England prospects competed on the course, they also spent a lot of time talking about the possibility of teaming up in Ann Arbor.
"It was fun,” Hansen said. “Drew is a good buddy of mine. It was good to talk football and all things Michigan, obviously. I've just been telling him the same things I told myself when I committed. It's a great business school. Obviously, football competes every year.
"Michigan has a lot of things that make Massachusetts kids feel at home. I've just been giving him the whole Mass to Michigan pitch."
A Rivals100 prospect from Needham (Mass.) St. Sebastian’s, Hansen committed to Michigan in early April over offers from Boston College, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Wisconsin and a number of other major programs.
A few schools have tried to sway Hansen away from the Wolverines over the last couple of months, but he remains completely solid with his commitment.
