Michigan will host yet another 2018 recruit, this time an under the radar shooting guard out of Chicago.

Ty Mosely, a 3.4 student, has played a number of positions at Orr, but the 6-6 standout should be a shooting guard at the next level. He played on the wing the first part of his junior year, then shooting guard and finally moved to point guard in December.

“I can shoot and score, but I knew I’d have to give up some stats and some shots,” Mosely told PJStar.com. “But I want to do what they need me to do. I like handling the ball and making decisions."

Mosely holds offers from DePaul and Chicago State, but his list is expanding. Several high majors have expressed interest, and he recently visited Illinois. Tulsa, Purdue and Oklahoma State are showing serious interest and he has also has heard from TCU, Creighton, Missouri, Pitt, Northwestern, Georgia Tech and Michigan, among others.

"I would say their level of interest is high,” Mosely said of Illinois. “I am very interested in Illinois and I hope I get an offer. That would be great. I don't have any dates set at this point, but I plan to visit Georgia Tech, Purdue, Creighton, and Michigan."

He'll visit U-M June 26.

Mosely recently received an invitation to the Under Armour All-America Camp in Philadelphia.
