Here's the halftime box score of the Michigan/Purdue game.
Halftime Thoughts
Michigan trails Purdue at halftime, 10-7.
The offense has been dreadful, compiling only 131 yards of offense, to Purdue's 179.
Redshirt junior quarterback Wilton Speight was injured in the first quarter, and never reentered the game.
Fifth-year senior John O'Korn came in his place and led the team to a touchdown drive, hitting redshirt sophomore tight end Zach Gentry on a 12-yard score. The score was the first of Gentry's career.
Michigan has been able to muster much else, with just 29 yards on the ground, and 102 through the air.
The defense has done its job, holding Purdue to just seven first downs.
The offense needs to wake up in the second half, though, if it is going to pull this one out.
