Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh provided some good news on the injury front while addressing the media Monday. Cornerbacks David Long and Brandon Watson, two important pieces at a thin position, both left Saturday's 33-17 win over Florida with what appeared to be leg and shoulder injuries, respectively, but each is expected to be okay.
"Not yet," Harbaugh said when asked if could give definitive updates on their statuses. "They're still going through the treatment ... [but] both those youngsters will be fine, couple day kind of things. We'll see."
There were bumps and bruises in the physical contest, but Harbaugh said U-M avoided major injury.
"I think I have a pretty good idea that we're in really good shape coming out of this game," he said.
