Redshirt sophomore kicker Ryan Tice will depart from Michigan and take a grad transfer route to Tennessee (per the Knoxville News Sentinel), where he will have two years of eligibly remaining.

Tice, who attended Saline High School, did not appear in any games in 2017 for the Wolverines, but did see action in five contests in 2016.

Playing behind kicker/punter Kenny Allen, Tice went 10-for-10 on extra points that year, kicked off three times and missed the only field goal attempt of his career in Michigan's 14-7 win over No. 8 Wisconsin on Oct. 1.

After Allen's graduation, Tice found himself stuck behind redshirt freshman kicker Quinn Nordin and freshman punter Brad Robbins on the depth charrt this past season.

The redshirt sophomore kicker was not on scholarship at Michigan, and will also join the Tennessee program as a walk-on.

Nordin will once again be the only scholarship kicker on U-M's roster next season, although the Wolverines will also be welcoming freshman preferred walk-on Adam Culp from Ithaca, Mich.
