Michigan senior left tackle Mason Cole has accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl on Jan. 27, 2018, in Mobile, Ala.

Cole is the third Wolverine to accept an invitation to the annual event, joining fifth-year senior defensive tackle Mo Hurst and fifth-year senior linebacker Mike McCray.

The versatile lineman started all 12 games at left tackle f0r the Maize and Blue in 2017, a year after he started every game at center.

In fact, Cole has earned the starting nod in every single game of his Michigan career, a streak that is currently at 50 and counting.

He made his 50th consecutive start along the offensive line on Nov. 25 against Ohio State, tying former U-M great Jon Jansen (1994-1998) for the school record at the position.

Cole is also just one start short of tying former Michigan defensive end Craig Roh (2009-2012) for the school-record of 51.

The senior left tackle earned second-team All-Big Ten honors from the Associated Press this season, as well as from the coaches and media.

The Senior Bowl will be televised at 2:30 p.m. E.T. on Jan. 27, and will air on NFL Network.
