Michigan's offense left out of top 25 in CFB25's offensive ratings

On Thursday morning, EA Sports released offensive ratings for the top 25 offenses in the new College Football 25 video game. According to the release, Michigan was left out of the top 25, meaning the Wolverines will not have one of the best 25 offensive ratings in the soon-to-be-released video game.

Of course, Michigan loses 10 starters on the offensive side of the ball heading into the 2024 season. Following the team's national championship in January, many players made the leap to the NFL and left Michigan in favor of the professional route.

Colston Loveland is the only returning starter on offense, and there will be a lot for the Wolverines to prove when the season begins.

The offensive line, which has proven to be the heartbeat of the team the past three seasons, will bring in five new starters to protect a quarterback that has still yet to be determined.

Alex Orji appears to be the leader in the clubhouse at quarterback, but Davis Warren and Jack Tuttle provide their own advantages in the competition, as well.

Teams 22-25 in the offensive power rankings (Florida State, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, USC) all have offensive ratings of 83, which means Michigan will not have an offensive rating higher than that when the game is officially released on July 19.

Below is the full list of the 25 best offensive ratings in the game:

1. Georgia (94)

2. Oregon (94)

3. Alabama (91)

4. Texas (91)

5. Ohio State (89)

6. LSU (89)

7. Miami (89)

21. UCF (85)

22. Florida State (83)
