The four-star will make his choice Thursday, Aug. 27, at 5 p.m. The 6-3, 202-pounder has narrowed his choices to just two schools: Ohio State and Michigan. He has visited both this off-season, with a trio of visits to Ann Arbor counterbalanced by a camp appearance in Columbus.
Mitchell is the No. 51 overall prospect and No. 8 wide receiver nationally, and New Jersey's No. 3 player. He would become the 23rd commitment in Michigan's class, or No. 20 for Ohio State. Each school has one other true receiver committed, the Wolverines boasting Mitchell's fellow South Jersey prospect Brad Hawkins Jr., and Buckeyes landing Indiana four-star Austin Mack earlier this summer.
