The Latest: Formerly of Prestonwood Academy in
Plano, Texas, Michael Irvin has a very familiar name around
southern Florida where he now lives. His All-Pro father attended
"The U" and went on to have a Hall of Fame NFL career with the
Dallas Cowboys. Junior has picked up offers from dad's alma mater,
South Florida, and now Michigan among others. The move figures to
put the Canes in great shape now that he's so close to campus and
Irvin says that he's always loved Miami despite not having any
official frontrunners.
