Houston (Texas) Westfield four-star defensive tackle Keondre Coburn is a large young man at 6-2, 305 pounds. The No. 14 defensive tackle and No. 195 overall prospect nationally is high on Michigan for a reason that most prospects are.

"I like Michigan because of Coach [Jim] Harbaugh. He's my favorite head coach," Coburn said. "The 49ers are my favorite NFL team and he made them great again."

Harbaugh isn't the only thing that Coburn likes about Michigan. For being a Texas native he had a pretty good feel for the program and hopes to see it in person whenever he can get something set up.

"I've never been to Michigan but I watch them on TV when I can," he said. "I know it's great football up there and I love the fans. I have to go visit."

The defensive line haul is going to be quite small compared to what Michigan landed in 2017 but Coburn is one to watch along the interior. If he ends up making his way to campus he'll climb up the recruiting board.
