Ahmir Mitchell goes Blue
At long last, Ahmir Mitchell has officially given his word to become a Wolverine. The 6-3, 202-pounder is the No. 102 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 19 wide receiver, and is also the No. 3 player in New Jersey.
He made the call at a 5 p.m. ceremony at his home, and in a video produced by Bleacher Report:

Mitchell becomes the 23rd current member of the Wolverines' 2016 recruiting class, and the second wide receiver, joining fellow Garden State standout Brad Hawkins of Camden High (Hawkins' teammate, defensive end Ron Johnson, gives U-M a trio of New Jersey pledges).
With the commitment, U-M nets 107 points in the Rivals.com team rankings, moving to the No. 5 class in the nation, just ahead of Florida State. The Wolverines are expected to sign a full recruiting class of as many as 28 prospects come National Signing Day in February.
Stay tuned for much more on Mitchell's commitment.
