Michigan sophomore shooting guard Ibi Watson has decided to leave the program. He announced his intentions via twitter.
Watson played 26 games this year and averaged 2.2 points per game. He made 10 of 31 triples this year, but he didn't develop his off-the-bounce game and rarely saw the court.
Michigan head coach John Beilein said yesterday he hoped there would be no transfers, but said he wasn't naive enough to believe it couldn't happen. U-M is now at 13 scholarships for next season, though many believe junior Moritz Wagner is NBA bound.
