The No. 14 player in the state of Michigan had reeled in some solid offers to date, including from LSU, Michigan State, Nebraska and Wisconsin among others, but was always pegged as a Michigan lean because of his family's connections. Aidan's father, Chris Hutchinson, played on the defensive line at Michigan from 1988-92 and his mother also attend U-M.

Listed at 6-4, 227 pounds from last year's Rivals Camp, Hutchinson is now 6-6, 245 pounds and looks more and more like a big-time defensive end at each event he shows up at. Aidan is much bigger than his father already but possesses some of the same athleticism and quickness that made Chris a fan favorite during his days at U-M. The rising senior has a ton of room to continue to add weight and could easily be a 6-7, 275-pound monster defensive end by the time he gets on the field in Ann Arbor.

Hutchinson becomes just commit No. 3 in Michigan's 2018 class joining Indianapolis Cathedral four-star offensive guard Emil Ekiyor and Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County four-star outside linebacker Otis Reese.
