The fourth installment of Jack and Jim Harbaugh's weekly podcast, "Attack Each Day," was released today, and featured Jim's sister Joani as a special guest. Here are the highlights:

Jim Harbaugh, referring to the play of Michigan's defense Saturday at Purdue

"[Redshirt junior defensive end] Chase Winovich looked like J.J. Watt himself out there, playing his best game ever. Our secondary has very little self-promotion or fanfare, but they’re playing very well. [Sophomore cornerback] Lavert Hill and [sophomore cornerback] David Long both had fantastic games, and [junior safety] Tyree Kinnel and [sophomore safety] Josh Metellus both played very physical."

Jack Harbaugh, on the speed of Michigan's defense

"The beauty of it is how all 11 players hustle to the ball — there’s not a player who doesn’t get to it. When we used to grade film, we’d look for eight or nine guys around the ball. With receivers so spread out nowadays, it’s hard to get that many guys around the ball, but they are achieving what many would deem impossible."

Jim Harbaugh

"If Don Brown is in a good mood, I’m in a good mood. If Don Brown is happy, I’m happy."

Jack Harbaugh, referring to co-host J.T. Rogan's fiance and impending marriage

"To use a football analogy, you have outkicked your coverage on this one, and we will do anything to help and enhance this endeavor."

Joani Crean, when Jack Harbaugh told her she is one of his favorite kids

"I think you said the same thing to John after having him on the show a week or two ago."

Jack Harbaugh: "I don’t think I did."

Joani Crean

"I used to go on recruiting trips with you [Jack Harbaugh] on Friday nights to basketball games, and that’s where I learned you’d never recruit a kid with thick ankles. You could always look at their ankles to see how athletic they were."

Jim Harbaugh

"[My daughter] Addie stopped by the office yesterday with a friend, and they made a fort out of dummies on the field. After that, [fifth-year senior quarterback] John O’Korn was in watching film with Pep Hamilton, and Addie took it upon herself to go into the meeting room and say, 'GREAT GAME, JOHN O’KORN! GREAT GAME' with a nice fist pump."

Joani Crean

"Tom [Crean] is doing good. He was recently at a coaches clinic in Portland, Oregon, and just got invited to the Utah Jazz’s preseason camp, so he’s excited to get back into basketball."

Jack Harbaugh

"The phrase 'my bad' just grinds me. There are no excuses, no pouting and no whining, and to me there’s no place in sports for 'my bad' or that type of phrase — just make it right.

"Here’s another one that grinds me — 'it is what it is' — what a copout that is! It’s not what it is, it’s what you make of it! And how you’re going to make it better!"
