Moody, Robbins raising money for cancer research based on performance

What's better than hitting a field goal or pinning a punt inside the 20?

Benefiting a charitable cause while doing it.

That's what Michigan punter Brad Robbins & kicker Jake Moody plan to do in 2022.

Moody announced earlier this week that he's benefiting Pediatric Cancer through C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. Partnering with Better Made, a Michigan-based company, after each field goal made by the defending Lou Groza Award, the company will donate $300 towards pediatric cancer research.

The graduate student kicker from Northville, Mich., is calling the campaign Good for 3.

Robbins isn't a stranger to charitable donations through his performance after donating $25 for every punt pinned inside the 20 in 2021. The campaign raised over $7,000 for Liver Cancer research through the U-M Rogel Cancer Center.

The sixth-year punter is running it back and "doubling down" in 2022.

Expanding on last year's Pin Cancer Deep campaign, Robbins plans to add to his challenge by adding donations for every punt further than 50 yards, on top of each punt downed inside the 20-yard line.

Both specialists were recognized as All-Big Ten athletes last year. Moody was a consensus first-team All-American.
