The Pylon 7v7 season will continue this weekend with a loaded tournament in Atlanta.
Several high-profile clubs and recruits will be in attendance for what should be a thrilling event.
C1N, coached by New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton, is back to defend its 2019 title (the 2020 Atlanta tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and boasts a roster full of highly touted FBS prospects.
Rivals250 tight end Jaleel Skinner, who has offers from Michigan, Clemson, Florida and others, Rivals250 wide receiver Sam M’Bake, who has offers from Florida, Georgia, Miami and others, Rivals250 linebacker Jaron Willis, who holds offers from Michigan, Florida, USC and others, four-star Clemson wide receiver commit Adam Randall are just a few names to know.
C1N South should be in title consideration. The program formerly known as Tight Action has performed well throughout the 7v7 season and also has some quality recruits on its roster, including four-star Auburn quarterback commit Holden Geriner, rising 2023 wide receiver Ahmari Borden, who holds offers from Florida State, Georgia, Oregon and others, and rising 2023 athlete Makari Vickers, who has offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU and others.
Fast Houston has been a staple on the Pylon 7v7 circuit and will be a threat to take the trophy back to the Lone Star State.
Scoring on Fast Houston will prove to be difficult with Rivals250 Texas cornerback commit Jaylon Guilbeau, five-star safety Jacoby Matthews, who holds offers from Alabama, LSU, Michigan and several others, and elite 2024 cornerback Asaad Brown.
Fast Houston also has explosive offensive weapons like Rivals100 Texas running back pledge Jaydon Blue and Rivals250 LSU wide receiver commit AJ Johnson.
TN Select is bringing a ton of talent from the state of Tennessee and should be one of the strongest teams in the tournament. The squad features four-star cornerback Myles Pollard, who holds offers from Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee and others, Rivals100 Alabama quarterback pledge Ty Simpson, four-star wide receiver Cameron Williams, who has offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee and others, and Rivals250 running back Dallan Hayden, who has offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and others.
Domo, which captured the championship at the Pylon Dallas tournament in January, is stacked as well. From Texas A&M commits Noah Thomas and Donovan Green to Rivals250 quarterback Jacurri Brown, who has offers from Auburn, Miami, Texas A&M and others to Rivals100 cornerback Julian Humphrey, who has offers from LSU, Penn State, Texas A&M and others, Domo is ready for a run at another title.
Team Ceedy impressed at Pylon Panama City Beach a couple of weeks ago and should be labeled as a tournament dark horse. The team is highlighted by three-star wide receiver Jayden Gibson, who has offers from Florida State, Miami, Tennessee and others, elite 2023 wide receiver Hykeem Williams, who has offers from Alabama, Florida, Miami and others, and three-star linebacker Omar Graham, who has offers from Michigan, Auburn, Oregon and others.
The same could be said about Gas Crew Elite. The Alabama-based program is home three-star running back Quinshon Judkins, who has offers from Michigan, Auburn, Penn State and others, three-star 2022 wide receiver DeAndre Coleman, who has offers from Florida State, Penn State, South Carolina and others and elite 2023 defensive back DaKaari Nelson, who has offers from Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee and others.
Other notable programs include SOAR, which features top 2023 cornerback Cormani McClain, who has offers from Florida, Florida State, Ohio State and more, Central Florida All Stars, which is led by Rivals250 linebacker DeMario Tolan, who has offers from Michigan, Auburn, Florida State and others, and PASS ATL, which boasts Georgia athlete commit Cedric Washington.
251 Family, 24K, 412 Elite, Aces Elite, EPS Blaze, Field Savages, Hotbedworld, SHEC, Team Dimes and Team Take Over make up the rest of the field.
