Michigan Wolverines football hosted its final big recruiting weekend ahead of the 2021 season, with fall camp set to begin in the matter of days (August 6). The Maize and Blue brought in committed and uncommitted prospects for their annual 'BBQ At The Big House,' and the early returns have been extremely positive.

Below, we've rounded up the social media reactions from recruits and staff members who were in attendance, with some added commentary when necessary. Keep in mind that not every recruit has posted something from the visit on social media, and that the reactions below are not a list of those who attended the BBQ.

2022 Targets

OL Josh Conerly, Seattle (Wash.) Rainer Beach

Michigan went out to Seattle to see Conerly at a satellite camp in June, and the Rivals100 offensive lineman returned the favor by making an unofficial visit for the BBQ. He got the chance to work out with current Michigan OL commit Connor Jones and offensive line coach / co-offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore, in addition to getting his first look at the campus and facilities.

DL Deone Walker, Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech

The Detroit Cass Tech mammoth defensive tackle has had perhaps more face time with the Michigan staff than any recruit, but it's always important to get a priority target like him on campus again. Walker got to spend time with Michigan edge rusher commit Mario Eugenio, with the duo having become friends through the camp circuit.

2022 Commits

RB CJ Stokes, Columbia (S.C.) Hammond

Stokes pulled the trigger and committed to Michigan during Victors Weekend last month, and he has reaffirmed his status by returning to campus on his own dime over the weekend. Stokes seemed to enjoy some time with Jack Harbaugh, father of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and a former U-M coach himself.

OL Connor Jones, Monument (Colo.) Palmer Ridge

The aforementioned Jones is as vocal of a Michigan supporter as they come, and appeared to enjoy his time in Ann Arbor once again. Based on his post, it looks like he may don the legendary No. 77 when he gets to campus (redshirt freshman Trevor Keegan currently wears the number on offense).

DE Mario Eugenio, Tampa (Fla.) Gaither

Eugenio committed to Michigan earlier in the month and enjoyed another trip to Ann Arbor. He put his recruiting hat on this time, attempting to convince others (like Walker) to join the movement.

LB Aaron Alexander, Belleville (Mich.) High

It was all smiles for the in-state commit and his family members during the visit.

2023 Targets

QB Dante Moore, Detroit (Mich.) King

Moore was actually in town the day before the Saturday BBQ and had to depart for some other visits that he had scheduled throughout the weekend, but it's significant that the Wolverines got him back in the facilities. Harbaugh was the first to offer the Detroit product, something that stands out to Moore to this day.

Here's a photo of Moore with his teammate, 2023 offensive lineman Johnathan Slack, who doesn't hold a Michigan offer but was invited for the big weekend, and Harbaugh.

WR Semaj Morgan, West Bloomfield (Mich.) High

Morgan earned a Michigan offer earlier this summer after impressing the staff at multiple camps. He got another chance to be on campus and bond with other recruits. It doesn't hurt the Wolverines' chances that his former high school head coach, new U-M safeties coach Ron Bellamy, is on staff.

OL Luke Montgomery, Findlay (Ohio) High

The elite Ohioan took full advantage of Michigan's new photo shoot backdrop and snapped some shots of him recreating the 1989 Nike Basketball commercial featuring Michael Jordan and Spike Lee.

OL Cole Dellinger, Clarkston (Mich.) High

Dellinger was offered by former Michigan offensive line coach Ed Warinner, but got a chance to work out in front of Moore and U-M over the weekend.

OL Clay Wedin, Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day

An unranked prospect, Wedin has national offers from the likes of Alabama, Florida, Ohio State and Notre Dame in addition to Michigan.

2024/2025 Targets

QB CJ Carr, Saline (Mich.) High (2024)

The Michigan legacy (son of former U-M quarterback Jason Carr and grandson of former U-M head coach Lloyd Carr) appeared to enjoy his trip down the road to The Big House.
