Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton three-star pro-style quarterback Tyler Shough tweeted out that he spoke with Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and now holds an offer from the Wolverines.
Michigan becomes the 6-5, 195-pounder's biggest offer joining teams like Colorado State, Indiana, Nevada, South Carolina, and several Ivy League schools in the sweepstakes for his services.
Shough is considered the No. 8 player in Arizona but exhibits a live arm and obviously possesses good size for a quarterback.
The offer could be a result of the face that Michigan's top two targets at the position, Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star dual-threat quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Orlando (Fla.) Olympia four-star dual-threat quarterback Joe Milton, may be trending toward UCLA and Florida respectively. Both are expected to be in Ann Arbor for Michigan's spring game on April 15, but expanding the net seems like a smart move at this time.
