Announcers revealed for Michigan's season-opener against ECU on Peacock

Michigan is opening up a new era of Big Ten football in one month against East Carolina. The conference's new media partner, NBC Sports, will air football games this season with the Wolverines set to air week one on the network's streaming platform, Peacock.

According to an NBC Sports press release, we now know who will be on the call when the Wolverines take the field:


Mike Tirico (play-by-play), Chris Simms (analyst), Lewis Johnson (sidelines) – East Carolina vs. Michigan, as the Big Ten season kicks off one month from today, Sept. 2 on Peacock (Noon ET)
NBC Sports

The Wolverines will kick off against ECU at noon at Michigan Stadium on September 2.
