Only a day after earning a preferred walk-on opportunity from Michigan, West Bloomfield (Mich.) High 2016 offensive lineman Anthony Kay has accepted it.
The 6-4, 275-pound Kay is yet another preferred walk-on pledge for the Wolverines. The program has kicked into high gear in the first full recruiting class under Jim Harbaugh.
Coached by former Michigan receiver Ronald Bellamy, the Lakers ran through the regular season 9-0 before being upset by Novi in the first round of the state playoffs.
Kay has classmates committed to scholarship offers at Michigan State (four-star receiver Trishyon Jackson), Syracuse, Toledo, and Purdue.
