With Michigan on a bye last week, there's no game to look back at. However, that doesn't mean we can't have some fun with the treasure trove of information our partners at Pro Football Focus have on the Wolverines.
Below, we take a season-long look after the first eight games at who the Wolverines' best are at each position:
Highest-Graded Player By Position (minimum 120 snaps played)
QB — Junior Shea Patterson, 77.7 (489 snaps played)
Patterson is the highest-graded regular and his offensive grade trails only backup QB Dylan McCaffrey (88.6 on 41 snaps) and walk-on wideout Jake McCurry (82.9 on five) overall on his side of the ball. Both his overall mark and passing grade (76.6) rank 39th nationally among throwers with at least 100 dropbacks.
