Yes, Michigan State is a rival, but the Wolverines aren’t exactly in any head-to-head fistfights with the Spartans on the recruiting trail. Michigan State, after all, is on a downward spiral.
The Spartans sit at 4-5, and Mark Dantonio may not be around very longer. No, this isn’t a normal Michigan-Michigan State marquee game, but the Wolverines have a chance to end the Dantonio era and impress some recruits in the process.
Despite the game losing lust as well as an early kickoff, the Wolverines are still set to host a strong group of recruits, headlined by 2020 Rivals250 prospect Theo Johnson.
