Commit Tracker: How Michigan Pledges Performed Over The Weekend

High school football is back in full swing. The teams of all but two of Michigan's 17 2022 commitments took the gridiron over the weekend.

Here is a breakdown of how those future Wolverines performed:

LB Aaron Alexander, Belleville (Mich.) High

The Skinny: His team pummeled winless Wayne (Mich.) Memorial, 78-0.

Up Next: vs. Westland (Mich.) Glenn Oct. 8

QB Jayden Denegal, Apple Valley (Calif.) High

The Skinny: In a 47-13 win over Phelan (Calif.) Serrano, Denegal completed 25 of 30 passes for 325 yards and five touchdowns.

Season Stats: Has connected on 89 of his 133 pass attempts for 1,165 yards and 15 touchdowns with five interceptions, and rushed for 146 yards and five scores on 34 carries.

DT Mason Graham, Anaheim (Calif.) Servite

The Skinny: The No. 8 team in the country, according to MaxPreps, stayed undefeated by beating Orange (Calif.) Lutheran, 56-12. Graham registered four tackles and a sack.

Season Stats: In six contests, he has 29 tackles, including a team-high 13 stops for loss.

DT Kenneth Grant, Merrillville (Ind.) High

The Skinny: Undefeated Merrillville notched a 42-7 victory over previously unbeaten Valparaiso (Ind.) High. Grant posted a tackle for loss and forced fumble.

DE Kevonté Henry, Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger

The Skinny: All three of his tackles came behind the line of scrimmage in Leuzinger's 67-0 destruction of Inglewood (Calif.) Morningside. Henry also added a fumble recovery.

Season Stats: Recorded 14 tackles, including five stops for loss, in six outings.

Up Next: at Compton (Calif.) Centennial Oct. 8

DB Will Johnson, Grosse Pointe (Mich.) South

The Skinny: Grosse Pointe fell to Macomb (Mich.) Dakota, 38-28.

Season Stats: In one game in which stats were available, he returned a punt for a touchdown, notched an interception and took a jet sweep 18 yards.

OL Connor Jones, Monument (Colo.) Palmer Ridge

The Skinny: Palmer Ridge dropped its first game of the season, losing 28-21 to Montrose (Colo.) High. Jones is a part of an offensive line that paved the way for 129 rushing yards on 33 carries.

DB Kody Jones, Germantown (Tenn.) High

The Skinny: Germantown (Tenn.) High lost to Collierville (Tenn.) High, 22-0, dropping to 5-2 on the season.

Season Stats: In one game in which stats were made available, Jones notched 113 rushing yards and one touchdown.

TE Marlin Klein, Rabun Gap (Ga.) Nacoochee

The Skinny: Posted two catches for 27 yards and one touchdown in a 23-10 victory over Charlotte (N.C.) Christian.

Season Stats: Klein has racked up 104 receiving yards on nine receptions and one rush for four yards in six contests.

OT Alessandro Lorenzetti, Windsor (Conn.) Loomis Chaffee

The Skinny: His team beat Avon (Conn.) Old Farms, 35-26.

TE Colston Loveland, Gooding (Idaho) High

The Skinny: Made four catches for 109 yards and one score in a 38-12 win over Buhl (Idaho) High.

Season Stats: Has hauled in 33 catches for 450 yards and eight touchdowns, and rushed 11 times for 141 yards and two scores in five games.

WR Tyler Morris, LaGrange Park (Ill.) Nazareth Academy

The Skinny: Morris is out with an ACL injury. His squad lost to Chicago St. Rita over the weekend, 42-39.

LB Micah Pollard, Jacksonville (Fla.) Bartram Trail

The Skinny: His team was idle this past weekend.

Season Stats: Has 21 tackles, including eight stops for loss, in six tilts.

CB Myles Pollard, Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood

The Skinny: His team lost to Spring Hill (Tenn.) Summit, 49-28. He had five tackles and four catches for 35 yards and a touchdown.

LB Deuce Spurlock, Huntsville (Ala.) Madison Academy

The Skinny: Madison Academy beat Huntsville (Ala.) Randolph, 42-16.

RB CJ Stokes, Columbia (S.C.) Hammond School

The Skinny: Hammond remained undefeated with a 14-0 win over Darlington (S.C.) Trinity-Byrnes. Stokes finished with 122 rushing yards and scored on a 28-yard dash.

Season Stats: Rushed for 12 touchdowns in six games.

WR Tay'Shawn Trent, Harper Woods (Mich.) High

The Skinny: Harper Woods won by forfeit over Hamtramck (Mich.) High.
