The No. 4 outside linebacker and No. 51 overall prospect in the country had favoring both Clemson and Michigan for the majority of his recruitment but after some careful consideration decided that Ann Arbor was the best place for him.

At 6-2, 218 pounds, Singleton is extremely athletic and is known for his ability to run and make plays all over the field. The rangy backer unfortunately tore his ACL during the second week of his high school season and has not played since taking the field inside Michigan Stadium back in late August. His surgery went well and he actually suited up and went through Paramus' pregame routine during the last two games of the season en route to a New Jersey state championship. He's a traditional graduate and should be ready to go when enrolls as Michigan next summer.

Michigan's linebacking haul now includes Sandy Hook (Conn.) Newtown three-star inside linebacker Ben Mason, Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's four-star outside linebacker Joshua Ross, and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star inside linebacker Jordan Anthony who just committed yesterday.
