Drew Singleton Puts Michigan In Top 12

Drew Singleton

In a not-so-surprising development, Paramus (N.J.) Paramus Catholic outside linebacker Drew Singleton has put Michigan in his top 12 via Twitter.

The 6-2, 218-pounder will consider Michigan along with Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, Penn State, Rutgers, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Clemson, and California. Most believe it will come down to the Wolverines and Clemson when it's all said and done.

Michigan has a solid connection to Singleton's high school with former Paladin head coach Chris Partridge on staff as linebackers coach. Former Paladins Jabrill Peppers, Juwann Bushell-Beatty, and Rashan Gary are also on the roster along with fellow New Jerseyans Ron Johnson, Ahmir Mitchell, Kareem Walker, and Michael Dwumfour. The Garden State representation is strong in Ann Arbor and may prove too much for Singleton to turn down when he finally makes his decision.

Singleton is the No. 2 outside linebacker and No. 39 overall player in the nation.
