The Michigan women's basketball team retained one of its most important players earlier this week, when senior Emily Kiser announced that she would return to the program for her fifth season.

Kiser started all 32 games this past season for Kim Barnes Arico, and she was one of the key pieces in the team's success in 2021-22. The 6-foot-3 senior averaged 9.3 points per game, to go along with 8.1 rebounds.

Much of the 2022-23 season will be centered around how the Wolverines look after losing the best player in program history, Naz Hillmon, but Kiser's return will prove to be a tremendous help for next season's team.
