Five Michigan Recruiting Storylines Heading Into Early Signing Day

Early signing day is just a day away.

And that means recruiting has taken centerstage. While most of Michigan's recruiting class is intact, there should still be plenty of buzz on one of the most important days on the calendar.

Here is a look at five Michigan Wolverines recruiting storylines heading into Wednesday's extravaganza.

1. Can Michigan Pull The Upset With Stroud?

Four-star Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) quarterback CJ Stroud is set to make his decision around 11:30 a.m. central time. By that window, most of signing day will be coming to a close, and all eyes will be on Stroud. Michigan's top remaining 2020 quarterback target, Stroud made an official visit to Ann Arbor this month and was blown away by the campus and coaches. Michigan made a huge push late and moved into his Top 3. However, all signs point to Ohio State. The Buckeyes were in the lead for a while and hosted him just before early signing day. Michigan has an outside shot to pull the upset, but it doesn't seem likely.
