Xavier Townsend is starting to make a name for himself on the recruiting trail.

The rising 2022 athlete out of Tampa (Fla.) Berkley Prep is already up to five offers and should see his stock go up even more this offseason. At this point in the process, Townsend is just taking it all in.

“Recruiting wise, everything is going well for me,” Townsend said. “It’s all going smoothly. I’m just remaining humble throughout everything. You can’t get a big head. I’m keeping it in the books.”

Michigan was the first FBS program to put an offer on the table for Townsend. In fact, it was a visit from UM head coach Jim Harbaugh that resulted in the scholarship.
