Fort Valley (Ga.) Peach County four-star wide receiver Kearis Jackson recently released his top eight schools, and now he has a decision date in mind as well.
Jackson will make his commitment known on Aug. 19 at 4:00 PM, and will choose from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan and Ohio State.
Jackson recently said that he hopes to visit Michigan sometime in July, so a potential visit to Ann Arbor would still be somewhat fresh in his mind when decision time comes in mid-August.
Because numbers are so tight in Michigan’s 2018 recruiting class, the Wolverines appear to only be pursuing a handful of players at wide receiver.
Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star Amon-Ra St. Brown, Long Beach (Calif.) Poly five-star Jalen Hall, St. Louis Christian Brothers College High four-star Kamryn Babb and Nazareth (Pa.) Nazareth Area four-star Jahan Dotson are the only receivers rated higher than Jackson who Michigan is still after.
As a junior last year at Peach County, Jackson hauled in 52 catches for 739 yards and nine touchdowns.
