Sam Mbake is one of the top wide receivers in the country for next cycle.
The four-star prospect from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy already holds more than 20 offers and is continuing to hear from top programs across the country on a daily basis.
“Everything has been really good despite COVID-19,” Mbake said. “Coaches are still trying to build relationships with me. Even schools that haven’t offered are talking to me and want to come see me in the fall.”
Right now, Mbake has scholarships in hand from Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina, Wisconsin and a number of other major programs.
Michigan hasn’t jumped in the mix just yet, but Mbake did have a group video chat with U-M head coach Jim Harbaugh, offensive coordinator Josh Gattis and 2021 quarterback commit JJ McCarthy.
