Highlights: McGary plays well in season opener

Michigan class of 2012 signee Mitch McGary scored 17 points to lead Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy to a win over No. 22 ranked Notre Dame Prep. Highlights and a scouting report here from Balla'sTV.com.

6'10 PF Mitch Mcgary, Brewster '12: The No. 2 prospect in the entire country per Rivals.com was a vocal leader on the court and by no means a prima donna all-American. McGary was willing to do the dirty work diving for lose balls all game and battling in the paint for rebounds (17 game high).

The most impressive thing about the Michigan Commit is that at 6'10 and 257 pounds he was able to jump the lane on incoming entry post passes for steals as well as picking the pocket of high major point guards and shooting guards on the perimeter. In the open court Mitch finished with authority or made the passes we didn't think he was capable of before the game.
