Michigan has landed a point guard in the class of 2011 ... Columbus (Ohio) Northland top 150 standout Trey Burke. Last week's visit to Ann Arbor apparently sealed the deal and helped the 6-1 standout, Rivals.com's No. 136 prospect from the class of 2011.

Burke, an outstanding shooter and capable ball handler, committed to Penn State before opening things back up this summer. He stood out for AAU All-Ohio Red this summer and started earning interest from a number of high majors.

Cincinnati moved into an early lead and was the heavy favorite in July before U-M made its push. Iowa, Providence and others also offered scholarships.
