How Michigan will divvy recruiting territories

In the weeks leading up to Signing Day, Michigan sent its staff all over the country, juggling schedules to get the closest available coach to this location or that location. Now that the chaos has settled down, U-M has assigned each coach a recruiting section ...
Wide receivers coach Jeff Hecklinski, who is also the recruiting coordinator provided the run down.
Special Teams/Tight Ends - Dan Ferrigno: The West Coast.
Offensive Line - Darrell Funk: 3/4 Texas (mostly central to western), Colorado and Oklahoma.
Running Backs - Fred Jackson Eastern Michigan (Detroit, Flint and Saginaw), Houston, Louisiana through Alabama.
Receivers - Jeff Hecklinski: Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Minnesota.
Defensive Coordinator - Greg Mattison: Western Michigan, northeast Ohio (Cleveland and surrounding areas).
Linebackers - Mark Smith: Bottom half of Ohio (Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus), Kentucky and Tennessee.
Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks - Al Borges: Central Michigan, and Indiana.
Defensive Line - Jerry Montgomery: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
Defensive Backs - Curt Mallory: The East Coast, including Pennsylvania.
