Peppers is one of the most highly sought-after recruits in the 2014 class. Standing 6-1, 210, the five-star prospect is ranked the No. 2 overall player in the class, according to Rivals.com.
Michigan is a strong contender for Peppers, whose high school teammate, three-star offensive tackle Juwann Buchell-Beatty, is already committed to the Wolverines.
Peppers cancelled a visit to Stanford in early May. (Click here to read TheWolverine.com recruiting analyst Tim Sullivan's analysis of that decision).
Peppers has been on the recruiting radar for several years. As a sophomore in 2011, he was named the Air Force National Sophomore Of The Year.
As a junior last year, Peppers earned USA Today All-American honors while leading the Paladins to a New Jersey state championship.
