Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh was staunch with reporters during Thursday's Big Ten Media Days that he would not discuss any part of the NCAA investigation and any potential suspensions he might receive.

Since the investigation and negotiations for his suspension are still ongoing, no one can fault him for wanting to avoid potentially say anything that could harm his position with these talks.

Regardless of how any kind of question was framed, Harbaugh wouldn't budge.

He did acknowledge that he is prepared to face things head-on and isn't 'ashamed' of the ongoing talks.

"As you already know, I’m not allowed to talk about any aspect of that ongoing situation,” Harbaugh said. “I’m with you. I’d love to lay it all out there. Nothing to be ashamed of and but now it’s not that time and that’s about all there is to say about that.”

Even during his individual session with the media, the Wolverines' headman wouldn't budge as he continued to say he couldn't discuss any part of the situation.

Regardless of how things will go, his players have made it clear that they will rally the team together in his absence.

"It's nothing that we've brought up since the news came out," Mike Sainristil told reporters during Big Ten Media Days. "We just focus on preparing in the weight room, getting ready for camp next week. We know Coach Harbaugh is going to be there at camp coaching. Whether he's there for those first four games or not, I know that he would want us to do is go out there and play a great brand of football and lead on for the block M. Just go out there and play our brand of football, Michigan football, play fast, play hard, play physical. Do what it is that he prepares us to do. Whether he's with those four games or not, we're going to play as if he was right there coaching us."
