The Wolverine has confirmed from a source close to the Michigan program that 6-3 Detroit Renaissance guard Joe Crawford informed Wolverine coaches this evening that he is committing to Kentucky. His decision ends a roller-coaster recruitment that came down to two finalists, U-M and UK.

Crawford committed to Michigan almost exactly a year ago, a move that came seemingly out of nowhere. In July, while at the Nike All-America Camp in Indianapolis, Crawford announced that he was reopening his recruitment, but would still consider Michigan. He planned to sign during the November early signing period, but it came and went without a decision.
