The Wolverine's EJ Holland caught up with three-star 2021 San Luis Obispo (Calif.) High offensive tackle Thomas Cole on Thursday night.

Cole spoke about his interest in Michigan, call with head coach Jim Harbaugh and decision timeline.

EJ: How are you handling working out and recruiting during the pandemic?

TC: I’m trying to proceed as normal. I’m working out a lot — probably more than normal. I’m on the phone with coaches a lot. I’m just a little disappointed I won’t be able to visit schools. That’s out of my control. I’m not the only one.

EJ: You recently narrowed your list down to five. Can you touch on that?

TC: My Top 5 is Michigan, Cal, UCLA, Oregon State and Arizona. That’s mainly based off of my relationships with the coaches and how I see myself fitting into the scheme and the town.
